  • Rambling Thinkings.......

We arrived here 3 years ago between the 18th and 20th of August!!!
    Isn't that wild!!! hahahaha
    I'm loving the irony.

And not only that...but we commuted for two years 50 min. from my husband's workplace in Riverside...until last year moving here to Riverside thinking we'd be here another 4 years or so. That lease was signed August 27thish.....and it's perfect timing that we won't be renewing our lease, but instead moving before September. Amazing right? Poetically Good Timing. ...... Which is reflective of "HIS" timing, I'm choosing to believe. Which is beautiful in it's own timing, even though we nearly faint holding out to see it take place.

Hard lessons with great deepening growth and sight. Right? They that wait upon the Lord...no matter how much they have to sweat it out with trust and hope....Rise up with new strength like soaring eagles....and usually right at the moment they thought it was at great last... all a loss. "In the nick of time" was God's idea in the first place I'm convinced.

  • A Fun Day....

We've had a fun day. We've done: NOTHING! That is really fun to do sometimes isn't it?
Jay is in a good mood since he's got an extra rest day. I'm glad he does. He really needs it.

I've researched all kinds of animal pets today.
Read more Well Trained Mind stuff...
Made our Trader Joes Chocolate Chip Pancakes and Apple Bacon to snack on....
And now we're going to play a board game and then go outside and play.

    A very nice quiet day.

  • Rest Easy....In My Embrace

I love this song! Thought I'd share

    Audio Adrenaline:

One more mile 'til I lay rest
I have put myself through this rigid test
But the mile has never ended no distance has been gained
I do not see greatness I wanted to obtain
Where is my embrace from the race that I have run?
I have kept a steady pace but still I have not won

    Rest easy
    have no fear
    I love you perfectly
    love drives out fear
    I'll take your burden
    you take My grace
    Rest easy
    in My embrace

I am such a sinner I fear my evil ways
I fear my imperfection I fear my final days
I just want to take control and snap this rusty chain
drop my heavy burden it seems to be in vain

I am not a bold man even though I want to be
I am just a dreamer with a timid history
Scared of confrontations I fume all through the night
the world has it's hold on me and I just want to fly
The sky, the sky is open wide
but I can't fly 'til I step aside

    Rest easy
    have no fear
    I love you perfectly
and perfect love drives out fear
    I'll take your burden
    you take My grace
    Rest easy
    in My embrace
    Rest easy, rest easy
    rest easy, in My embrace
    Rest easy

The video picture is annoying - but the song is FAB.

  • Copywriting Questions

I want to start copywriting some things.
Some are songs (instrumental), Some are lyrics for songs, or completed songs (music and lyrics) and some is just poetry.
    I'm also considering beginning a book. I don't know. We'll see. LOL
Is it a different copywrite process for each type of thing? Does anyone here have any experience with copywriting things?
Is there a place that someone can recommend that doesn't rip people off and steal their sunshine?
I would hate to be "had' on my journey of learning to copywrite things.

  • A New Me

I quit blogging awhile back because my blogs brought about some unwanted family drama. You know, people read and then run around quacking about what I should or should not be writing. Thankfully the people that MATTERED in my family supported my blog and that is all that is important to me. I decided that I will not let one annoying toxic person keep me from enjoying my blog.

And on a similar note....All my life....and I do mean up to this very day..... I have lived to make others happy; people that could not be made happy; people that didn't care if I was happy. I existed to perform and please. I poured out...while they have felt free to use and abuse, or neglect and reject.  A lifetime of that SUCKS. Well I am so over that. I refuse to live another day accomodating any ungrateful people who don't know how to return love....and will never even try, people who are simply dead emotional weight, or for that matter toxic energy burning up my happiness and opportunity to be Kirstin. I only get to be  Kirstin  once. And I've already given 33 years of being Kirstin away. I've enabled everyone elses selfishness and demands and been terribly jipped of getting to be ME. I refuse to be that accomidating , run over person anymore. So....bye bye old me. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm off to catch a falling star.

  • So how do you do it?

Keep up with your blogs that is.
After Schooling, Chores, Outings, Dinners, Planning, Extended Family Dramas (ha), and the myriad of other things we are involved with day to day...How is it that you consistently get to your blog? I had some friends asking me this the other day at a Sport's Meet. I had to answer...I sure don't know! Mine is so neglected. I only seem to pop in for milestones and pictures and then I disappear.

I'm going to try to be much more involved here. We'll see how it goes. Here are some updates.

We were told that the information written on my grandmother's discharge papers concerning her Brain Tumor was a typo or misinformation. While that is just weird and frustrating that is also fabulous news. I'm told that my Nena is going great and is back to being herself. Praise the Lord. My mom is also well. Both things are a blessing and your prayers were very appreciated during a time that seems really scary. It would be SUCH a blessing to be able to make it home for the summer and hug everyone's necks.

My Brother Jonathan entered the Air Force training in March and I'm so proud of him. I hope to post pics soon of the visit he made to California to see me the weekend before he went in. It was a great time. The boys had a blast with all of the rough housing and wildly playing that little nephews usually do.

Be back later. I have a visitor!
